Spotify is set for the iPhone
Today the BBC as well as Spotify themselves announced that their debut mobile app has been sent to Apple for approval and should be available within days.
For those unfamiliar with the Spotify service, it allows users to listen from Spotify’s vast library over the internet, completely free and more importantly completely legal! The free services is subsidised with adverts every 5 tracks. The premium service is only a tenner a month and well worth it if, like us, you spend your days listening to a lot of music.
The App offers up a number of tasty features including ‘offline mode’ which allows you to listen to your selected playlists without an internet connection. The bad news to many though, is that the app will only be available to premium users.
